On Tuesday, 26 February, the Management Board of Holding Slovenske elektrarne (HSE), the full owner of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (TEŠ), appointed Mitja Tašler as the interim director of the TEŠ. Tašler, an electrical engineer by profession who has more than ten years of working experience in the energy sector, has worked as the head of operations at the TEŠ since 2017. He will perform the post of interim director of the company from 1 March 2019 until the appointment of the director with a full, four-year term, but no longer than for six months. The procedure to select the new director of the TEŠ is already under way.
