Generator 6 of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (TEŠ) is operating again after the maintenance works, planned for between 23 April and 6 May, were concluded. The generator was synchronised with the electricity network at 5:19 a.m. today. The maintenance works included inspections of the equipment, cleaning of the flue gas and ventilation system of the air heater and the remaining warranty-related interventions.

During the shutdown of generator 6, the electricity for the national network and heating energy for the Šalek Valley was being provided by generator 5.
