Company HTZ Velenje, I.P., d. o. o., the largest affiliated company in the Velenje Coal Mine Group, has a new Managing Director. As of Monday, April 17, 2023, the company is independently managed and represented by Damijan Kanduti, M.Sc. The new Managing Director is appointed for a period of four years.

Damijan Kanduti, M.Sc., holds a Master of Science degree in the field of technical environmental protection. Between 1991 and 2001, he was employed at Velenje Coal Mine, most recently as manager and technical manager for the technical area. In the period 2001-2004, he was employed at HTZ Velenje as assistant director and then as commercial director. For the last fifteen years, he held the position of director in the coal subsidiary PLP, Wood Industry, d. o. o.
