HSE DONATES 170,000 PROTECTIVE MASKS TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Holding Slovenske Elektrarne, the largest Slovenian producer of electricity, including from renewable energy sources, is currently donating 170,000 protective masks to the regions in which its companies operate.

The masks donated in Podravje (40,000 masks), Zasavje (50,000 masks), Goriška (40,000 masks) and the Šalek Valley (40,000 masks) are intended for various humanitarian, recreational and youth associations, schools, kindergartens, organisations for persons with disabilities and numerous other particularly vulnerable population groups, as well as for those who come in contact with these groups.

It is the second major donation by the HSE related to protection from the novel coronavirus and the treatment of Covid-19 in the past year. In March 2020, two ventilators were donated to the University Clinical Centre Ljubljana to help the health staff there to provide care for patients with the most difficult symptoms of the disease.

Matic Naglič, head of the corporate communication department of the HSE Group, who is in charge of the distribution of the masks, noted that they have all the required certificates, and are to be used before the end of 2022.
