COMPANIES OF THE HSE GROUP ASSIST UKRAINE WITH ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

At the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Robert Golob and the former Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia, Bojan Kumer, addressed to the Energy Chamber of Slovenia in October 2022, four companies of the HSE Group, the largest Slovenian electricity producer and electricity supply undertaking, collected and sent to Ukraine several pieces of electrical equipment necessary for the operation of the state, companies and households in a country exhausted by the war.

The Drava Power Plants Maribor will donate four energy transformers, ten current transformers, nine voltage transformers, one circuit breaker and one diesel generator to Ukraine. The Soča River Power Plants Nova Gorica sent to Ukraine two rectifiers, processing equipment for controlling two power plants and two electrical protection relays, the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant sent twenty-seven protection relays, and the HSE-Energy Company Trbovlje three 6 kV electric motors, an oil burner and four circuit breakers.

The HSE Group is aware of its mission, which, in addition to safe and reliable electricity supply, also involves social responsibility – which sometimes extends beyond the borders of our country. We believe that the donated equipment will fall into the right hands and that its use will help bridge the difficult period in which Ukraine has found itself. The companies in the HSE Group will gladly and to the best of our ability cooperate in all possible similar initiatives in the future.
