The first test launch of the boiler with the use of the oil burner was successfully carried out on Monday, 30 July 2018. On the basis of the results of an analysis of the launch, a new setting of the boiler system will be made, which will be followed by a test launch of the coal boiler. The ecologically rehabilitated generator 5 – a number of changes were made in the combustion process as part of a project to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides – will be synchronised with the electricity grid in Slovenia at the beginning of the following week.
