At today’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of Holding Slovenske elektrarne d. o. o. (HSE), appointed Matjaž Marovt as a new temporary member of the HSE management team and Director-General for a period of six months, starting on 19. 4. 2017.

»Matjaž Marovt is an expert with a wealth of managerial experience in Slovenian and international companies. We believe his expertise will contribute towards achieving the objectives set by the HSE group and company«stated the chief supervisor of the HSE, Milan Perović.

One of the key tasks of the new Director-General will namely be ensuring stabile management and business. In addition, Matjaž Marovtadded that one of the important objectives of his mandate will be enhancing the reputation of the HSE group with all its stakeholders. »It’s what the three thousand employees deserve for pursuing their mission and their committed work in mining, production and the sale of electric energy. Without the HSE, there is no safe and reliable supply of electrical energy, therefore, it’s more than justified that a group of such importance also sustains an appropriate public image, along with the positive internal climate of the company,«added Mr Marovt, who, while performing functions as a temporary member of management of the HSE, isn’t allowed to act as a member of the company’s Supervisory Board.
