Instructions for visitors of the HPP Boštanj construction site

Tours of the construction site may take place on regular workdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

• For the purpose of these Instructions, all persons arriving with the intent to tour the construction site shall be considered as visitors of the HPP construction site.
  These Instructions shall be enforced by the person conducting the tour (the tour guide appointed by the Investor).
• All visitors shall familiarise themselves with the Instructions while their leader shall sign the visitor log as well as enter the number of visitors in the log.
  Access to the construction site may only be granted to persons wearing helmets and subject to approval by the tour guide.
• The tour guide shall inform the visitors of all hazards present on the construction site and advise them of the applicable restrictions of movement while touring the site.
  Visitors shall follow the instructions of the tour guide, safety signs, safety instructions and regulations in force at the HPP Boštanj construction site, and shall access only the areas designated by the tour guide.
• Arbitrary removal or displacement of warning signs, markings, fences, ropes, flags etc. is strictly prohibited. Visitors are strictly prohibited from accessing danger areas (fall from heights, danger zones of construction devices, cranes etc.).
• For visitors who fail to comply with the instructions given by the tour guide and find themselves in a danger area as provided in the preceding paragraph, the responsibility for the consequences of such behaviour shall reside solely with the visitors themselves or their leader (Leader of the visiting group).
• In case of particularly inclement weather, extensive construction works or presence of other hazards, the site tour may be cancelled or terminated.
• Should a visitor cause damage by way of unauthorized intervention into the equipment or by precipitating a dangerous event, the visitor shall be liable for damages resulting from such actions and shall indemnify the investor or companies for any damage suffered. Should a visitor behave in a disruptive fashion, ignore general safety measures or safety measures imposed by the company, the tour guide shall immediately stop the tour and remove the offender or the entire group from the construction site. Where a visitor has been sent to the construction site by a corporation or institution, liability for any damage caused resides with that company or institution. Disputes in relation to damage caused shall be referred to the competent court of relevant jurisdiction.
• Records of filled-out forms – the Instructions for Visitors of the HPP Boštanj Construction Site and Visitor Log – shall be kept by the security services.
• The Instructions form shall be filled out in two identical copies of which one shall remain on file while the other shall be received by the person signing the Instructions – Leader of the visiting group.
