Toplofikatsia Ruse AD
By acquiring the Topolofikatsia-Ruse in 2007 we have increased our package of production sources by 400 MW. Our own production source in Bulgaria in partnership with the Mechel Group from Russia enables faster expansion of the extent of electricity trade in this part of the region and also the transport of electricity towards Slovenia. Toplofikatsia-Ruse produces electricity, industrial steam and thermal power. This power plant was built in the years 1964 – 1966, when three generators were installed. Because of increased needs for electricity, further instalments were added up and until 1985, when three additional, larger generators were added.
