Modri Jan

HSE is already working to awaken an awareness of environmental concerns and the importance of renewable energy sources in children. Modri Jan is one of the projects  launched thanks to the Slovenian Electric Power Holding and the Modri Sklad (Blue Fund). The main objectives of Modri Jan are environmental awareness of children, education on renewable energy sources, nature and concerns for its preservation.

It has become proverbial  that "the world stands on the young"  if we entrust  the care and the possession of our planet to the children, then it's right to show them how to manage it. We must teach them how to care for the planet and the environment and how to exploit harmlessly its features,in the same way we have taught them the first steps and words. We must teach them love. For nature, themselves and life.

Only time will tell, how successful we are. For a start we present some image material out of children's environmental linked works. They were performed in the Modri Jan Visits Schools and Assigns Environmental Protection Works Project Frame, which was attended by nearly 400 primary schools and kindergartens. More than 8,000 children. They were inspired by nature. So were we. Everything is driven by energy.
